Speed Chilling A Beer
This is right from the television show “Mythbusters” – so it must be true!
Here is a quick trick that will have you enjoying an icy cold Abita Beer in under three minutes!
You need:
Steel Pot Water Ice Salt Wooden Spoon What to do: Put the beer in the steel pot large enough to completely cover it with ice. Fill with ice till the beer is covered. Fill the pot with water to the top. Add two cups of table salt. Stir with the wooden spoon until all the salt is dissolved. Place the pot in the freezer for three minutes. Remove and enjoy! Warning: Don’t forget the beer is in the freezer or it will explode and cause a terrible mess. Try setting the timer on the stove or on your cell phone for three minutes as a reminder.
