Abita Springs, LA – The Abita Brewing Company is pleased to announce their new partnership with the French Quarter Festival as the official beer sponsor. “We are excited to be a part of this world-class music and entertainment festival,” said David Blossman, President of the Abita
Brewing Company. “It is only fitting that New Orleans’ favorite beer sponsors and supports this showcase for New Orleans’ unique cultural heritage,” continued Blossman. “We’re glad to do our part to help keep the French Quarter Festival the largest free music festival in the South.”
The newest Abita brew takes its name and inspiration from the Mardi Gras Indians of New Orleans. Looking for Indians on Mardi Gras Day is a tradition for many New Orleans families. A cultural phenomenon familiar to residents of the Crescent City, the Mardi Gras Indians are not well known to outsiders and Abita is proud to help share their story with the world.
