Our bar features our full line of lagers, ales & root beer and includes some products only available at the pub. Examples of some of our home brews that you may come upon when visiting our brewpub are: Abita 76 (a rich lager with 76 calories), & Brewer's Choice (a series of unique, draft-only brews, brewed specifically for the brewpub). These can be purchased for take-out in refillable glass jugs.
The Brew Pub is home to the original Abita Brewery and we brew special beers that are only available at the brew pub. Some examples of these are:
• ABITA BLUE - This wheat beer has a smooth crisp finish just like our original wheat beer but with a hint of blueberries.
• CHOCOLATE STOUT - This stout is made with a generous amount of chocolate malt. Chocolate malt is barley that has been roasted much like a cocoa bean to produce a roasted chocolate flavor. It is dispensed with nitrogen to yield the rich creamy head characteristic of a well made stout. Approx. 5.5% alcohol by volume.
• NITRO PALE ALE - Are you a fan off our Pale Ale? Try this version! Same great beer pushed from our kegs with nitrogen in place of CO2
• HEFE WEISEN - Traditional European Wheat Beer (Non Filtered)
• GUEST MICRO - The world is brimming with great beers! Ask your server for the microbeer featured this week
• CASK CONDITION BROWN ALE - Non-filtered, self carbonated,
hand pumped English style brown ale.
